The TOMOCON Kick-Off Meeting successfully took place from 17th to 20th April 2018 in Dresden with company visits at Siemens AG and Linde AG in Munich.

With more than 65 participants from 24 countries including 12 ESRs, the project members came together for the first time to get to know each other, attend keynote lectures as well as introductory technical trainings.

Highlights:

• Keynote speech about Process Tomography by Prof. Brian Hoyle, President of the International Society for Industrial Process Tomography (ISIPT)
• Presentation of the International Joint Research Center for Process Imaging and Measurement by Prof. Dr. Chao Tan, Tianjin University China
• Interactive Lab Tour at Siemens AG
• Linde Pilot Reformer and Digital Labvisit at Linde AG
