Within TOMOCON we demonstrate functionality and efficacy of tomography-assisted process control in four industrial process applications of highest relevance and leverage. These are

Inline fluid separation
Microwave drying
Continuous casting
Batch crystallization

The demonstrations shall provide a proof-of-concept for specific application of process tomography in process control and thus interlink new approaches and strategies of process tomography, advanced process control and process modelling. They serve as benchmarks for improvement in energy and resource efficiency as well as quality improvement for certain types of product. For our Early Stage Researchers the demonstrations foster interdisciplinary and lateral thinking and provide a ground for effective team work.
